The waterproof outer shell  would be suited to damp cold days. It also features a zip pocket on each side and a draw string along the hem. Another benefit to the outer shell coat is the hood, which when not in use can be folded away into the back of the neck of even removed altogether. It also has a small rod inserted into the hood which maintains shape and minimises rain getting in. The outer shell also has a zip/button up front, with pockets accessible by undoing the buttons only.
